If the release of Half-Life: Alyx on March 23 sparks increased interest in VR headsets, it will be part of a trend. VR as a platform has built up an impressive library of games over the years, including games like Beat Saber, Superhot VR, Pistol Whip, and Boneworks, with more games like Phantom: Covert Ops and Marvel’s Iron Man VR on the way. It seems many of have picked up on this, as the most popular headsets are consistently selling out now, which is why we’ve rounded up the best places to find headsets and deals, with a quick note about which headsets are compatible with Half-Life: Alyx.

Unfortunately, the number of VR deals at the moment is a little low. Oculus’s Quest promotion, which bundled the all-in-one headset with Vader Immortal, is over, and both it and the Oculus Rift S headset have quickly become hard to find. Thankfully, the Half-Life: Alyx-compatible Samsung HMD Odyssey+ is still discounted, and if you’re interested in PlayStation VR, the great five-game mega pack is still available at Amazon with free shipping.

There’s a huge library of compatible games on Steam, including the upcoming Half-Life: Alyx. This particular headset is a part of Amazon’s Warehouse deals and is in “Very Good” condition.

PlayStation VR Mega Pack Bundle | $303.16

If you want a VR headset but don’t care about Half-Life: Alyx, you should really consider getting a PSVR.
