Nintendo Switch bundle with your choice of game and bonus accessory | $330 ($359)
This deal was popular during Prime Day, and it’s back at Walmart for this early holiday sale. Walmart is offering a Nintendo Switch bundle that includes your choice of game for $330, down from the usual $359. The games available to choose from are limited to Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. You’ll also get a bonus accessory to choose from: an Ematic USB Type-C-to-HDMI converter with USB and MicroSD card slots, or a PowerA carrying case.
Xbox One S: Choice of bundle with bonus Call of Duty: Modern Warfare | $249
This Xbox One S bundle comes with a free copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (which includes three hours of double XP); plus, five different Xbox One bundles are available to choose from: Gears 5, NBA 2K20, Battlefield 5, Forza Horizon 4 / Lego Speed Champions, or NBA 2K19. At $249, this is a great deal for an Xbox One S, the brand-new Call of Duty, and another game of your choice.
Xbox One X: Gears 5 Limited Edition bundle | $400
The Gears 5 Limited Edition Xbox One X comes with a unique design for the 1 TB console and controller, in addition to digital download codes for Gears 5, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War 4–yes, the entire core series. Walmart is slashing the price down to $400. That’s a pretty great deal, especially if you’ve been looking at upgrading to the X or haven’t purchased a console this generation at all.
Xbox One S All-Digital Edition | $200 ($250)
Microsoft’s digital-only Xbox One S normally sells for $250, but gamers may find it more appealing at its current sale price of $200. This console doesn’t have a disc drive for playing physical games or movies. It does come with download codes for Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3, and Sea of Thieves, a wireless controller, and a one-month Xbox Live Gold subscription.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: Buy 3 months, get 3 months free | $45
Combining Xbox Live Gold with Game Pass for both console and PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a worthwhile membership for any Xbox owner. Walmart is offering three months free with any purchase of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, essentially getting you six months for $45. While you can currently get your first month for $1 over at the Xbox Store, this is still a solid deal if you’re already a subscriber, since you could tack this onto your existing membership. [Update: Newegg is now offering the same deal for just $40 with code EMCUTVY32 at checkout.]
Arcade 1UP Machines
These arcade cabinets stand at 4 feet tall and feature several classic games, including Asteroids and Centipede. Fighting game titans Street Fighter 2 and the Mortal Kombat trilogy also have their own machines and feature in this early holiday sale, with discounts varying by machine. Featuring the original art as well as joystick and control buttons setup, this is the perfect gift for fans of retro arcade games.
Omen by HP Gaming Laptop 15.6″ w/ GTX 1660 Ti | $1,099 ($1,399)
This great gaming laptop includes the HP Omen 400 mouse and Omen 800 headset as well, making this a solid deal for anyone looking to get into PC gaming. The laptop itself comes equiped with a GTX 1660 Ti, an i7-9750H processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. It’s got quite the specs that should be able to handle any modern game at decent settings.
Vizio 55″ 4K HDR Smart TV | $398 ($428)
Outside the realm of gaming, Walmart also has discounts televisions and other electronics, including two great 4K TVs from Vizio in 55- and 65-inch options. If you’re waiting for Black Friday to buy a TV, this deal is worth considering ahead of time. Both sets feature HDR, Apple AirPlay, and Chromecast support, in addition to Alexa/Google voice control and its own built-in smart apps like Netflix. I actually own the 55-inch version of this particular series of TV, and when paired with a soundbar, it’s a great experience for gaming and movies.
Apple AirPods | $144 / $169
Apple AirPods are all the rage these days, and while I can’t shake the fear of them dropping out of my ear, falling into a sewer, and then going on a perilous journey through crocodiles and mole people, this deal sure is enticing. There are options for the AirPods with both wired and wireless charging cases.
