The Nintendo Switch enters Black Friday 2019 in a strong spot. Nintendo’s latest console has had a number of great exclusive games, including Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Astral Chain, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Pokemon Sword and Shield. On top of that, the new Switch Lite has kept console sales strong as it tempts even current Switch owners to pony up for a second system. You’ll be able to find deals on both the Switch and Switch Lite this Black Friday, as well as some accessories to round out your Nintendo Switch gaming experience. We’ve rounded up the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals right here, compiling Switch consoles and accessories from all of the major retailers.
The official Nintendo Switch bundle is a repeat from last year, but there are several other enticing Switch bundles available at a number of retailers. This includes deals on updated Switch with better battery life and the portable-only Nintendo Switch Lite. In addition to console deals, you can also pick up Joy-Cons for an incredible price and a variety of different third-party controllers for great prices.
We’ve covered the best Switch game deals elsewhere, but you should be aware that after staying mum on the subject for much longer than everyone else, Nintendo finally launched its Black Friday Eshop sale on Switch (and 3DS) games. If you’re picking up a system, be sure to give it a look to fill out your library.

Nintendo Switch with digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | $300
This Switch bundle was offered in 2018, and on the surface, it’s a pretty good deal. You get the Switch and an awesome game that regularly goes for around $50 these days. However, please note this isn’t the updated Switch with better battery life; it’s the launch model. If you love Mario Kart and aren’t concerned about the longer battery life, this is a solid offer; otherwise, you may be better off just buying the newer model for the same price and waiting for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to go on sale. That said, this bundle has sold out almost everywhere already. It’s still available at Walmart, though.

Nintendo Switch (new model) | $250 ($300)
If you’re looking to buy a Nintendo Switch, this deal might be your best bet. Rakuten is knocking $50 off the price of the new model Switch starting Thanksgiving Day.

Nintendo Switch (new model) with carrying case and charging dock with $90 Kohl’s Cash | $320 ($345)

For $320, you’ll get the Switch, a carrying case ($20 value), and the popular PowerA Joy-Con Charging Dock ($25 value). The real draw here is that you’ll get $90 Kohl’s Cash to spend in the weeks following Black Friday.

Nintendo Switch Lite with Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield | $230 ($260)
Ebay is bundling the Switch Lite with either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield for $230. You’re saving $30 overall, which makes this the best Switch Lite value right now. You can choose between the gray, yellow, and turquoise Switch Lite models.

Upcoming deal
Nintendo Switch (new model) + Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled + 12-month Nintendo Switch Online family subscription | $296 ($375)
Starting Wednesday, November 27, Google Shopping will have a rather cool Nintendo Switch bundle. The $296 bundle includes the updated Switch with better battery life, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and a 12-month family membership for Nintendo Switch Online. Even though Crash Team Racing certainly pales in comparison to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, this bundle is better because it has the new Switch model and a $35 subscription to Switch Online.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Con (L/R) Neon Red/Blue or Gray | $60 ($80)
An extra pair of Joy-Con controllers normally sets you back $80, and even though you get “two” controllers, that’s still pricey. Thankfully, Switch Joy-Cons are on sale for $60 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target this Black Friday.

PowerA wired controllers | $15 ($25)
Like Joy-Cons, Switch Pro controllers are expensive, but there are some reasonable third-party options like PowerA’s lineup of wired controllers. Using the same layout as the Pro controller but with a slightly smaller form factor, PowerA’s wired controllers are pretty darn good and come in three awesome designs: Zelda, Mario, and a Pikachu-yellow Pokemon theme. All three are discounted to $15 at Best Buy.

PowerA Enhanced Wireless Nintendo Switch controllers | $29 ($45)
These PowerA Enhanced wireless Nintendo Switch controllers are good alternatives to Nintendo’s official Pro Controller. They don’t support features like HD Rumble or NFC Amiibo scanning, but they do have two buttons on the back that can be mapped to a face button. This lets you keep your thumbs on the sticks while you’re in the middle of the action.
Sold out
Poke Ball Plus | $20 ($50)
While the Poke Ball Plus initially launched as an alternative controller for Pokemon: Let’s Go, it will also be compatible with Pokemon Sword and Shield, allowing you to “hold” one of your Pokemon and take it with you on the go (presumably to rack up experience points or earn extra items). However, it won’t function as a controller for Pokemon Sword and Shield the same way it did for Pokemon: Let’s Go. The Poke Ball Plus also comes with Mew, a mythical Pokemon that can be transferred into Pokemon: Let’s Go. The accessory is normally $50, but most major retailers have it for $20 during Black Friday.
